Maryland Red Flag Law

Maryland’s red flag law, also known as the Extreme Risk Protective Order (ERPO) law, allows law enforcement officers, family members, and certain health professionals to petition a court to temporarily remove firearms from individuals who are deemed to pose a significant danger to themselves or others.
